Sometimes, no matter how much you diet and exercise, you’re left with stubborn pockets of fat that just won’t shift.
It may be your arms, your thighs, your stomach… Your hips, bottom, knees, chin… Every one – and every body – is different, and so are our trouble spots.
Thankfully, sculpting even the most persistently problematic areas is possible thanks to liposuction, or liposculpture. Performed on any area of the body you like, liposuction will leave you with a more shapely, proportionate silhouette.
Dr Hunt has been performing liposuction for over 15 years and, as one of his most popular surgeries, it’s a procedure in which he excels. You’ll finally be able to shift your focus from the parts of the body that you hate, to the ones that you like. Just imagine what it will do for your confidence.
Is it for me?
Liposuction is a procedure suited to body sculpting, rather than weight loss. There are limits to the amount of fat that can be safely removed from the body, so if you are very overweight you may not be a suitable candidate. The goal is to use liposuction to remove localized bulges that are non-responsive to diet and exercise.
Depending upon the area, Dr Praveen will make 2-3 holes for cannula, and infiltrate tumescent solution and suck all the fat along with the solution.
When can I go home?
You will go home on either the same day as your surgery or the following day, depending on the extent of your liposuction. When you get home you should limit your movements to around the house for two to three days, to ensure you recover as quickly as possible.
How many days need to be off the work/normal activities?
You’ll only need a few days off work,You can resume all normal activities, including exercise, at six weeks.
You’ll wear compression garments continuously for the first three days, at which point you can shower, after which you’ll need to continue to wear them day and night for a further two to three weeks, and then at night for two to three weeks. These compression garments help you to define and maintain your new body contour. You can begin walking on the day of surgery, but will sore and tired for up to a week.
How long will take for result to been seen?
